The Davenport House

A.L. Davenport owned a sawmill. The family maintained several cows next to the house to provide the children with fresh milk daily. The children, regarding the cows as pets, occasionally invited them into the house. In the 1940’s Lloyd and Linda Flower lived there. They owned a photo shop at 217 East Wishkah and their son John became a well-known pianist. Today Dr. Bruce Worth and his wife, Bette, reside here.

The house was originally a Colonial revival house but has been extensively remodeled.
