Bubbles (outdoor)

Location: 205 S. I Street

Artist’s statement:

After completion of the Hand and History mural, I wanted to do a mural that focuses on our youth and what they have today. The image of a young girl blowing bubbles shows images of things from our past that we still have as opposed to just old images of what we've lost. The larger bubbles show the Kirk Cobain Landing, The Lady Washington and The Chehalis River Bridge as floating orbs of inspiration. The mural is meant to inspire our young to want to create for our future rather than focus on our past.
